How fees are confirmed

  • VAT is charged in addition where it applies.
  • We confirm the basis of the fee, the scale applied, VAT and disbursements in writing before any work starts.
  • The Valuers (Professional Misconduct) (Procedure) Rules make it professional misconduct for a registered valuer to deviate from the Board's scale without the Board's sanction, or to quote fees outside it, so valuation fees are not discounted.
